Do you want to buy a house but aren’t sure where to start? Attend a Homebuyer Education Workshop, offered on an individual basis. DHC recommends first time homebuyers to start with pre-purchase counseling to be educated on the process of homeownership, including sessions on spending, saving, budgeting, credit and debt evaluation, mortgages and lenders, and home maintenance.
